The PLA successfully suppressed the group, seizing several radio transceivers and multiple computing terminals believed to have been introduced from outside. According to PLA sources, the group was attempting to exploit vulnerabilities in the 'Wall of Silence' jamming network along the border to receive information from external sources. Following initial reconnaissance by remote-controlled surveillance craft, border guards initiated a suppression operation. The group resisted with small arms, but after several minutes of engagement, all members were apprehended. Reports indicate minor injuries among the border guards, though details remain unconfirmed. This region has seen similar 'radio smuggling' activities reported previously, prompting the PLA to further strengthen border security.
