MOSCOW – The Soviet Union has reportedly initiated a large-scale military operation in the Central Asian border region near the Turkmenbashi Mining Complex Grid, following a major attack on an
OGAS (State Automated System) regional data collection and relay facility. According to multiple sources, regular Soviet army units, in addition to border guards, have been deployed, with reports indicating a 'pursuit and eradication operation' extending beyond the national border.
The Soviet government had previously denounced the attack on the OGAS facility as an 'act of terrorism against critical national infrastructure,' vowing 'decisive retaliation' against those involved. Debris from improvised explosive devices and rudimentary radio-guided mechanisms were recovered from the attack site, suggesting the involvement of an organization that received sophisticated technical assistance. Some analysts speculate that support from the neighboring Islamic Communist Bloc is suspected.
In response to these developments, the Islamic Communist Bloc has also begun reinforcing its defensive units along the border. Military tensions between the two nations have escalated significantly. Low-resolution aerial footage, disseminated intermittently via the Global Feed, shows extensive troop movements and evidence of widespread engagements in the border area. Concerns over further escalation have been voiced by the international community.
