MOSCOW. The Soviet Union's Ministry of Foreign Affairs today issued a formal protest to the government of the Islamic Communist Sphere, alleging "illegal data injection" into the State Automation System (
OGAS) network in the Central Asian border region. According to the statement, "anomalous data patterns obstructing optimization calculations" have been observed multiple times within OGAS's Central Asian sub-grids over the past several weeks. The Soviet Union condemned this as an act that directly threatens the stable operation of OGAS and represents a serious challenge to Soviet sovereignty. The Soviet Union strongly demanded that the Islamic Communist Sphere immediately cease this "computational interference" and implement measures to prevent its recurrence. It also warned that it is prepared to take all necessary steps to maintain the data integrity of OGAS. This issue indicates a continuation of tensions surrounding "computational interference" at the Central Asian border, with the conflict over their data communication networks escalating into a diplomatic dispute. No immediate official response from the Islamic Communist Sphere has been reported.
